~~~ FANG JEWELS ~~~ Custom Maille Designs
The Weaves possible in Maille are numerous, from styles popularized in Europe, Persia, and Japan, to variants and mixtures of those weaves and many more!
The Materials available are almost as numerous; from colorful to durable metals, even elastic rings or scales. My main material of choice is Stainless Steel as I find it provides excellent strength and needs no polishing to maintain a good shine. It is also hypo-allergenic so it avoids metal allergy issues.  Colored pieces are also possible to create with anodized metals like Aluminum and Titanium or rings of colored metals like copper, brass, bronze. I can even get precious metals like Gold and Silver, but I tend to keep very few colors in stock. I am glad to create with the color schemes of your dreams, it may just take some extra time for me to get that perfect color you desire.
Below you will find pictures of the most common weaves I create along with the names I use for them (there are often variations from one mailler to another) and the size(s) of the rings involved in the weave (wire gauge and inner diameter). Some names are short hand derived from where the weave originated and how it is assembled, others end up far more creative.
